Boy Scout Troup 261 was on site for the “Dollar Makes a Difference Car Show” where spectators could vote for their favorite vehicle with monetary donations that all went to the Boy Scouts. Those walking along the boardwalk could enjoy checking out both shows. Saturday night the Jolly Roger’s at the Pier Family Fun Night was held with a Pedal Car Show and Neon Light Car Show.
The tour concluded with free tickets to the Shorebirds baseball game and a family snack pack to enjoy while watching the game. Saturday Participants could Tour the Shore with car shows taking place at the town of Snow Hill, the town of Pocomoke and Salisbury. Lots of beautiful participants paraded the stage and answered fun pageant questions.
For some this event was extra special as they were watching the movie in rides from the year the movies came out!Īnother exciting event that took place during Cruisin was the 6 th Annual Pin-Up Pageant that was held Friday evening at Cowboy Coast. Thursday and Friday evening families could cruise to the Inlet, turn on their radios, and watch the Drive-In Movies featuring American Graffiti and Smokey and the Bandit. Also joining the fun was David Newbern and Mike Cotten from the hit show " Faster with Finnegan." They had a great time saying hi to everyone and selecting trophy winners! Additional entertainement included live music by Mook Jones, Seaside Jimmy and Cruisin Gold Deejay.
Larry was at the event Friday and Saturday meeting and greeting fans. Special guest at Cruisin 2021 was Larry Wilcox, best know for his role as Officer Jon Baker on " CHiPs".
While the main events took place at the beachside Inlet Parking Lot and the Ocean City Convention Center there were various citywide locations. With 4 days of sunshine fun was had by all as we celebrated the 30 th Anniversary of Cruisin Ocean City May 20-21-22-23, 2021! Over 3,000 customs, hot rods, street machines, classics and more from over 20 states gathered in beautiful Ocean City Maryland.
